The talented Irrfan Khan has teamed up with Vishal Bharadwaj again as he
has bagged a pivotal role in Vishal’s Shakespearean adaption ‘Haider’.
Interestingly, Irrfan is said to be playing the role of a spirit in the
Indian screen adaptation of Shakespearean play ‘Hamlet’. Irrfan, who
has previously been a part of the Shakespearean trilogy in the form of
‘Maqbool’ (the adaptation of ‘Macbeth’) as the lead will now be seen in
the role of Shahid’s assassinated father who instills him to avenge his
death. Although his role will be a guest appearance, it is considered to
be the turning point in the plot. Irrfan will start shooting for his
role in the Kashmir valley sometime later this month. The film also
stars Shraddha Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Tabu.
